Blu-ray Replication

Most of the world's Blu-ray replicators, numbering around 30, only accept Blu-ray replication masters in the form of BD-CMF. Unfortunately, not all Blu-ray authoring software is capable of outputting or exporting BDCMF. While consumer-level software often generates the authoring result as BDMV, it cannot be used for replication, although it can be played on most Blu-ray players. If you lack access to software that can output BDCMF, New Cyberian can convert your BDMV disc to BDCMF for you.

Here is a list of software known to create replication-ready Blu-ray Disc in BDCMF format:

  1. Roxio DVDit ProHD - A discontinued Roxio product. Try to find it from other after market sources.

For those looking to output BDMV, which is acceptable for New Cyberian's replication-ready Blu-ray Disc master, here are some commonly used programs:

  1. Adobe Encore CS6 - A discontinued Adobe product. If you still have the CS6 DVDs you can still install it. If you don’t have the DVDs then try to get them from eBay

Blu-ray cases are uniquely designed to help consumers easily identify Blu-ray products. Until Blu-ray becomes dominant in the market, we strongly recommend using Blu-ray cases for packaging. This ensures that your audience will not mistakenly insert a Blu-ray disc into a standard DVD player.

To select Blu-ray case packaging, simply go to the Packaging options and choose Blu-ray Cases from the pull-down menu.

Based on your selections from the options menus, you will require the following artwork templates:

To open the template, you will need either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. If you have used non-standard fonts in your artwork, please ensure to send us the font files. Alternatively, for Illustrator, you can outline the fonts, and for Photoshop, rasterize the fonts. This step is crucial as missing fonts can be a common issue when clients use non-standard fonts.

Additionally, we are able to accept artwork in other formats from programs such as CorelDraw, Quark, and Gimp, as long as they meet the following specifications:

  1. Resolution: 300 dpi
  2. Color mode: CMYK
  3. Artwork diameter: 116mm
  4. Inner non-printable area diameter: 23mm

By adhering to these specifications, we can ensure the best quality and compatibility for your artwork during the production process.

Our Blu-ray Replication service typically has a lead time of approximately 15 working days. However, if you require your order sooner, please inform us, and we will do our utmost to expedite the process for you.

We offer various shipping options to suit your needs:

  • Ground shipping, which takes 1 to 5 days depending on your location.
  • 3-Day shipping
  • 2-Day shipping
  • Overnight shipping

We encourage you to plan ahead and consider using ground shipping as it is generally more cost-effective compared to overnight options.

For your convenience, here's a reference regarding the weight of bulk Blu-ray discs: Approximately 1,000 bulk Blu-ray discs weigh around 42 lb., distributed in two boxes of 21 lb. each. This information can help you estimate shipping costs and logistics.

Make the packaging option selection and then click on the Shop Online button. Specify the quantity you need then put your selection into the shopping cart. Complete the check out process and you will receive an online invoice by email.

Artwork Template(s) are listed under the Artwork Template tab.

To send us the project assets, copy the finished artwork on a CD or USB and then mail it to us together with the content master to be replicated. The acceptable content formats are:

  1. Playable/authored Blu-ray on BD recordable
  2. BDMV files on USB or hard drive
  3. BD-CMF files on USB or hard drive

You can also send us the artwork and/or content electronically to sales@newcyberian.com by using online file sharing platforms such as HIGHTAIL, WeTransfer, sendspace, Dropbox, or Google Drive. These platforms have upload limits unless you have a paid account with them. If you cannot upload the content, then you will need to send us the physical master as described above.

If you place the order online, please include a copy of the online invoice when you send us the master by mail.

New Cyberian Systems guarantees the replicated Blu-ray discs will be exactly the same as the master provided to us by our clients. We will not be liable for any latent errors that are inherent in the content. Please make sure to check and test the master before sending it to us.

If you choose to send us file(s) digitally, please be aware that there is a potential risk of missing data or data corruption. In the event this ever happens, you agree to hold New Cyberian harmless for any losses. New Cyberian will do its best to help mitigate the losses, and you agree to compensate New Cyberian for the additional expense for re-running the replication job.

Note: All Blu-ray manufacturing prices include glass master and stamper, film charges, Blu-ray disc replication, AACS registry, and 5-Color (full color) silkscreen / offset printing directly onto the disc. There is absolutely NO extra charge except for shipping.

For all Blu-ray replication orders, your artwork will be professionally printed onto the disc surface by either silkscreen or offset printing -- the same quality as any retail Blu-ray discs you can find in major retail stores.
